New bell schedule

Sumner-Bonney Lake School District is implementing a new bell schedule for the 2025-26 school year, with changes to the start or end times for all elementary, middle and high schools. 

Here’s the bell schedule specific to Bonney Lake Elementary:

• Start time: 9:10 am
• End time: 3:45 pm
• Monday Late Start: 10:15 am

The new bell schedule will:

• Align the length of the student day with neighboring school districts 
• Continue to meet the state required instructional time
• Increase instructional time on Mondays
• Help minimize the number of late buses at the elementary level

This new bell schedule also means new bus pickup and dropoff times, which will be available about a week before school begins. The first day of school for students in grades 1-12 is Sept. 2. The first day of kindergarten is Sept. 5.
